Cardiff & Vale Schools Rowing Academy

Following the success of the summer school blades courses in conjunction with the 5 x 60 initiative we at Cardiff Bay Water Activity Centre we now have an emerging schools rowing club!

When children complete the Blades One and Two courses and reach a competent standard in fine boats they have the option to join the schools group on a Sunday afternoon between 1330 and 1530 and on a Tuesday after school between 1630 and 1800.

This group will run all year round, hopefully resulting in many of the group racing on the water during the spring and summer of 2011 at both regional and national level!

Once participants reach a competent standard on the blades courses that run during each school holiday we will then invite you into the schools group and ask for an annual membership fee of £50.

Each session will then be coached by our team of professional coaches at a cost of £5.50 for water sessions and £2.00 for indoor sessions.
