Cardiff Rowing Centre is ideally situated alongside Channel View Leisure Centre in a purpose built facility in South Cardiff, on the edge of the River Taff.
With its dedicated slipway and pontoons, the water is a stone’s throw away from the centre. It provides excellent links to the Taff Trail and the rest of Cardiff Bay, as well as rowing, archery and Laserblast.
Managed by Cardiff Harbour Authority, the facility has introduced thousands of individuals, families and schools to the exciting world of watersports. It offers a wide range of courses that can guide you from being a complete novice to a fully qualified instructor. All ages are catered for via a comprehensive programme, where you can receive tuition on a weekly basis, or by attending a multi-day course.
All instructors hold national governing body instructor / coach qualifications from British Rowing, and have the necessary relevant experience.
