Course info
The Senior Instructor (SI) is an experienced instructor who has been trained and assessed as competent to manage courses within the RYA’s Sailing Scheme. The four day course covers the role of the Senior Instructor, including centre management, on water management and delivery of on-water sessions.
To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years of age and have completed two years intermittently or one year’s full-time instructing since qualifying, hold a valid first aid certificate and RYA Safety Boat Certificate, and taken part in the RYA Safe and Fun course.
Volunteers at Welsh clubs may be eligible to receive partial funding for this course. Contact us for details.
